Ever since I was 17, working with children has been a passion of mine. My first jobs were working as a children's party host for a party company and as a Sunday school teacher at my local church. These experiences allowed me to see how much I enjoyed working with kids. They also inspired me to become a Child Development major when I entered college. Throughout college, I worked as a preschool teacher's assistant and as an after-school program teacher. I graduated from California State University Long Beach with a Bachelor of Arts in Child Development and Family Life Education. Upon graduating, I became a lead preschool teacher at a Child Development Center in San Diego, CA. This new job solidified my decision in making this field my career. I have been a lead teacher for over 7 years and have worked with children from all walks of life. Working with children has brought me so much joy, and I look forward to guiding your little ones as they explore and discover the world around them.
Why we started our home daycare...
Golden Learning Cove began in 2020 when my husband and I had our firstborn son. My experience as a preschool teacher and my husband's experience as a business entrepreneur allowed us to pursue our dream of opening a home daycare. This allowed me to stay home with my own children while providing a safe and nurturing space for other children to come and learn. As we work alongside each family that enters our home, we hope that you and your child feel the warmth and love that we strive to provide through each and every learning experience here at Golden Learning Cove.
